These Terms & Conditions govern your use of goviloop.com and any order you place on it. The site is operated by GoviLoop, 2553 Neptune Pl, Port Hueneme, CA 93041, United States. Goods are dispatched from our fulfilment warehouse at Unit 208-209 & 410, Hutchison Logistics Centre, 18 Container Port Road South, Kwai Chung, New Territories, Hong Kong. By placing an order you accept these terms.
1. Who we are
GoviLoop is an independent online retailer of gym equipment, training accessories and performance apparel. Contact: info@goviloop.com (general) or support@goviloop.com (orders and support). goviloop.com is the only storefront we operate.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, and be able to form a binding contract. We sell to consumers in the United States for personal use. We may decline or limit orders that appear to be for resale.
2.1 Health notice
Exercise equipment carries risk of injury. Read the manufacturer’s instructions before use, check that fixings and surfaces are sound, and consult a physician before starting a new training programme. GoviLoop is not responsible for injury arising from use of equipment contrary to the manufacturer’s instructions.
3. Products, descriptions and pricing
We describe products as accurately as we can and write our own copy. Manufacturer specifications are reproduced as published and attributed to the manufacturer. Screen colours vary between devices; small variations in finish and shade are not defects.
Prices are in US dollars. The item price shown on a product page excludes shipping and the flat 10% import duties and taxes charge; both are calculated and displayed at checkout before payment. We may change prices at any time, but a change never affects an order we have already accepted. If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price because of a system or typing error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than fulfil it — we will e-mail you first.
Where a product shows a crossed-out price, that price was genuinely charged on this site for that item. We do not display invented reference prices, countdown timers, or artificial stock warnings.
4. Orders and acceptance
Placing an order is an offer to buy. Our order-confirmation e-mail acknowledges receipt but does not accept the offer; the contract is formed when we dispatch the goods. We may decline an order if the item is out of stock, if the price was wrong, if the delivery address is one we do not serve, or if we suspect fraud. If we decline, you are refunded in full.
5. Payment
We accept PayPal and Visa. Payment is taken as described on the Payment Methods page. Title to the goods passes to you on full payment; risk passes on delivery.
6. Import, shipping and delivery
Goods are exported from Hong Kong and imported into the United States. GoviLoop acts as importer of record and pays the applicable US import duties and taxes to the carrier; the flat 10% charge collected at checkout covers this. No further duty, tax, brokerage or disbursement fee is payable by you on delivery. If a carrier nevertheless demands a payment, contact us and we will settle it directly and reimburse anything you have already paid.
Our shipping terms, including handling time, transit time, costs, coverage and carrier claims, are set out on the Shipping & Delivery Policy page and form part of these terms. Delivery estimates are estimates and not guarantees; where a delay is our fault and you no longer want the order, you may cancel it for a full refund.
7. Returns, replacements and cancellation
Our Returns & Refunds Policy forms part of these terms. In summary: items that arrive damaged, faulty or incorrect are replaced free of charge, reported within 7 days of delivery and supported by an unedited unboxing video and photographs, with no requirement to return the item; change-of-mind returns are accepted for 30 days from delivery, unused and in the original packaging, against an RMA number and at your postage cost to our Hong Kong warehouse. There is no restocking fee, refunds go to the original payment method within 5 business days, and the 10% import charge is always refunded in full. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights in respect of faulty goods or goods not as described.
8. Intellectual property
The layout, text, original photography, logos and code of this site belong to GoviLoop and may not be copied or republished without written permission. Third-party brand names and trademarks that appear on product listings belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify goods; their use does not imply affiliation or endorsement. See Product Sourcing & Authenticity.
9. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to breach the security of the site, scrape it at a rate that degrades service, submit false orders, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend access where we reasonably believe any of that is happening.
10. Reviews and submissions
If you submit a review or other content, you confirm it is your own and grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it on the site. We publish reviews as received, including critical ones, and we remove only content that is abusive, unlawful or off-topic. We do not write, buy or incentivise reviews.
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Privacy
Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy, including the details we must pass to customs authorities and the carrier so a parcel can clear import.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version in force when you place an order is the version that applies to that order, and the “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Any dispute is subject to the courts of Ventura County, California. Please contact us first — almost everything is resolved by e-mail within a day or two.
